Fuji-Q Highland FPV competition in June to develop professional FPV flyers!
The FPV race, organised by the Japan Drone Sports Federation (JDSF), will be held in June at Fujikyu Land in Japan. The event aims to create an atmosphere where FPV race can be enjoyed by a wider audience by enabling children to improve their operating skills while playing in the park.
The JDSF is a comprehensive association, established in November 2022, which believes that it will enrich people’s lives through activities such as FP competitions. Currently, the members within the federation are high school and primary school students who have amazing talent as amateur FPV flyers. “We started with the hope of creating an environment where children can look to the future while playing FPV.”
By holding FPV competitions at this Fuji-Q Highland, which is visited by many people every day, people of all ages will be able to experience the feeling of FPV racing for themselves and have a good time.
JDSF’s goal in holding drone competitions is not only to professionalise and entertain flyers, but more importantly to lay the foundation for the promotion and application of drones in various industries, thus leading to the improvement of drone operation skills.
In this competition, JDSF will incorporate various ideas and take all necessary measures to get more people to join FPV competitions.
For example, participants will be more motivated with the preparation of prizes, thorough safety measures for spectators, a course and method to immerse both participants and spectators in the event, and rules for a global level event.
