I’ve heard a story from a friend, who’s also into fpv and he said, that when building his last cinewhoop (GEPRC V1 frame) he destroyed the AIO stack with his conformal coating.
Like he said, the drone armed before coating and after coating, the chip in the AIO just got hot and did nothing. I really don’t know whether his story is true and if the conformal coating was the problem or his soldering, but before coating my Cinewhoop, I wanted to ask u guys whether a AIO stack or in general any part (not coating the USB is obvious) of a drone can be damaged due to conformal coating.
And is it intelligent to coat a pre-build GEPRC CineLog35 V2? Or does it void the warranty?
